I've talked about it before & I tell you how it helped me over on my about me page, but I'm going to go into it a little bit more today.
I have quite a few new followers, challengers, & coaches so I want to make sure y'all know the best thing for YOU!
Working out is about so much more than losing weight or getting fitter; it helps with mental health & clarity so much. Sometimes I need to do something really intense, get my heart rate up, & feel like I'm kicking the crap out of the darkness that tries to consume me. Other times I want to dance, have fun, & enjoy everything that my body can do. There have been other days that I want to clear my mind completely & I am thankful for a slow moving Yoga routine.
It isn't all about what it does for my body!
I am a huge believer in putting myself first, meeting my needs, & doing what I can to clear my mind. Taking care of me first doesn't make me selfish, it makes me smart. When I am happy and darkness free I am able to be the best version of myself & all the people that I love and rely on me are able to reap the benefits.
I cannot wait for the Empty Cup Project coming up where we are going to focus solely on THAT!
Working out might not be at the top of your list for filling your cup, but it is for ME & that's why I am sharing about it. I am going to be helping my challengers find what fills theirs!
